Bhagavad Gita Chapter 10, Verse 11

Apart from posts about what is discussed at our meetings, there are also going to be quotes from various texts like the Bhagavad Gita, Vedas, Upanishads etc, 2-3 times a week. The quotes are there for everyone to reflect on the meaning, sometimes very literal and sometimes not.

  1. Great verse to start with. Pretty self explanatory, and I think provides good insight as to what the Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism) is. Although, I would like to know the context of this verse. Can anyone help me with this? I am not too well read.

    1. Chapter ten reveals Lord Krishna's exalted position as the cause of all causes. Also specifying His special manifestations and opulence's. Arjuna prays to the Lord to describe more of the opulence's and the Lord describes those which are most prominent.
